2- Learning English as a professional Language.



• Learning English for general communication:


The learner in this category aims to learn English for common purpose
which enables him to communicate with non-Arabic speakers.
Here, the learner`s aim is to learn English for day to day communication.



• Learning English as a professional Language:


In this category, the learner is studying English as a professional Language.
Here, the learner has to go deep in covering all aspects of English
Language i.e. including phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and its sub-divisions.
The learner of this type is supposed to have great command over English
as it has great connection to his profession. This type as its name shows is intended for
English Professional such as Eng. Teachers, Eng lecturers, Eng. Reporters,
Eng. Journalists, Translators etc.


Dear Friends,


In this page we are going to have different sessions which are intended to cover the
various aspects of English learning and problems solving that are related to English
whether it`s for professionals or non-professionals. You all are most welcome.

All what you have to do is to participate whether to ask or by answering, to be helped or
to provide a help. We have to work in hand in hand for helping each other.

One of the most important key to a good English skills is practice, practice and practice

Here are some of the tips for effective practice:

1. Do not watch translated TV shows or movies rather look for non translated once, or (even better) look for foreign*shows which translated in English.
You might find challenging at the first 2 weeks but later you'll start noticing that you started using their language.

2. read, read, and read
reading as an impact-full habit for learning a language. read out and listen to your self.

3. Listen to the radio like BBC and repeat after what they say, even if you do not understand
this practice strengthen your pronunciation and listening skills. Later if you do remember the words you can ask about the meaning or the pronunciation*
4. Never ever translate
Translation takes no where but to the end of your existing English knowledge. It is like filling a gasoline bottle with fire*
